   Do you like to eat chocolate? I like chocolate very much. So I want to know about history of chocolate, and I chose this book. This book tell us about a lot of things of chocolate. The beginning of chocolate dates back to 1,000 yaers ago from now. In those days, chocolate was a big secret. The animals which lived in America noticed existence of the chocolate. Especially  monkeys knew all about the pods. One day, a man copied the monkeys, and this was the beginning of thing. After that the chocolate changed into a drink from spice and became the sweet like now. The history of chocolate is profound.

BR2-08: Christmas around the world

  Do you know the history of Christmas? The answer is that people have been enjoying Christmas for over 2,000 years. Christmas comes over another 20 days later, I'm looking forward to coming it and I'm so excited! This book tell us about Christmas history.

  Do you know why people have begun to decorate it on a Christmas tree? and do you know hoe to spend Christmas of people of the world? The beginning of decoration of the Christmas tree was an action of a man. One night, a man saw stars twinkling through the tree. Back at home, he lit up his tree with candles. This is the first Christmas tree. And now all over the world people decorate their trees.

If you read this book before Christmas, you are able to spend Christmas more happily!

Minnesota life ~7.25.2012~

   I got up at 6:30 and I ate same cereals with cat. The cat, Moomoo likes people. He every morning aims my breakfast. So I have to run away from moomoo. After I ate breakfast, my host sister took me to the coffee shop. We gathered and got into Jeff's van and talked about daily happenings. Their talk were very funny! In an instant, we arrived college.

   In class, A Japanese in America, Naomi talked us about America that she felt. She came to the U.S. since she was 20 and she married American. She met her husband in same college. she was very funny and kind person. Her talk was very interesting and useful. 

   Afternoon, Linda talked us about international and intercultural health. She is professor of Nursing.
She taught us about jet lag, and I could learn about it and I thought that I need to drink a lot of water and a lot of sleep.

   After that we tried cooperative games with professors. We played a lot of games, and competed with 4 teams. I was in the orange team, and our team became a champion. It was very fun. And last, we played Bethel Scavenger Hunt. I didn't know where is it, so I asked Bethel's student and teachers, "Where is the～?". They were very kind and told me. I could know about Bethel university.
 
   Came back home, my host older sister took me to near lake. It took 20 minutes from our house. While rode her car, I asked her some questions and we were singing American popular song. Of course I didn't know the song, but I could dance with the music. It was very fun time. The lake is big like sea, and we swam and talked about her boyfriend. After that, we backed home and ordered pizza and pasta. The pizza was very very big!! I have never seen the size. They were very yummy! But American size was too big for me.

My favorite Christmas memory

　　I will talk about my favorite Christmas memory. When I was a child, I put the letter which I wrote about the present which I wanted on the table and slept on the Christmas Eve. And a present was put by the pillow when I woken up on the next morning. But it was not same as the present which I asked for all the time. But the present which Santa Claus gave me every Christmas were everything my favorite things. When I grow up and understood that Santa Claus was my father, I appreciated him. Every time, I wrote a request letter on the day before to get a present from my father. So every time he didn't have time to look for the present which I wanted. But every time my father thought about my favorite thing and presented it for me. I still keep the present which my father gave me as Santa Claus.

My favorite recent memory

   My favorite recent memory is to have traveled with close friends in Tokyo. From October 31 to November 5, I went to Tokyo to meet my close friends. Because one of my close friend lives in Tokyo, so we gathered there. I have 3 close friends, when I was a high school student, I met them. We were same class and in high school days, we always spent together. I laughed every day when with them. And we went for a school trip together, our group went to Nara, Kyoto and Tokyo. The school trip was the most fun for me. Therefore we went to Tokyo again because we wanted to enjoy trip like a school trip. So we went to same place, Tokyo Disney Land. When we entered there, we remembered the school trip five years ago. Even if the time of five years passed, our good relation didn't change at all. I love them very much! and I want to travel to a lot   of place in Japan and foreign country. When we find employment are decided, we are going to go to Europe as a graduation trip.

My favorite fashion model

  My favorite fashion model is Karina. She is 28 year-old and she is the youngest sister of three sisters and her sisters also work as a fashion model. She is active as not only an fashion model but also an actress. She is very cool but her smile is very cute.



  She appears to a magazine called "Ray", so when I a magazine, I often choose it the most. I like the drama which she appears, and now, I watch a drama "PRICELESS". She is very good at a performance. And I had watched a lot of dramas and movies which she appeared. My favorite her drama is "Part-time worker buy the house" and "The reason why I cannot love". They were very interesting for me. This year, she appeared the movie "GIRL". The theme of this  movie is various way of life of "Woman", and I had a lot of scenes to sympathize with this movie.
